Am I polar enough to do the strut?
If you can answer “Yes!” to the following questions, you are definitely more than cool and therefore welcome to plunge:
1. Able to walk or run 5K?
2. Will you raise at least $50 by the date of the event?
Wait, you said prizes. What kind of swag can I earn?
For starters, everyone who raises the $50 minimum will look very polar in their new Polar Bear Strut long sleeve t-shirt. (Long sleeve t-shirt is guaranteed in your requested size if you register at least two weeks in advance.) If you go above and beyond in raising funds for our athletes, you can also earn more essential Polar Plunge stuff:
$300 - Recycled Nylon Backpack
$500 - Grill Cooler
$1000-Soft Shell 3-layer Spandex Hooded Jacket

Prizes are not cumulative. All prizes will be based on funds raised online prior to the event and/or funds turned in at the event. Prizes at the levels will be redeemed via our Strut Prize website. You will be presented with your prize certificate at the Prize Table. This certificate will direct you to our Prize site where you can make your prize selection and it will be shipped to you.
Finally, we will present awards to the top 3 finishers in each age group (male and female); top male finisher; top female finisher; top SOMO athlete; and top LETR finisher.
The event begins with registration at 8 AM, and the race taking place at 10 AM.
Just who do I have to thank for all this?
